For our first installment, meet Ken — the tanned guy who hails from Aichi Prefecture, worked as a company employee in Nagoya and Tokyo, then relocated to Okinawa. He’s been on the 本然農園 team for about four months now.

Under the intense, blazing Okinawa sun, one man finishes his morning fieldwork, drenched in sweat in his tank top, and drains the last drop from his water bottle…

“My recommendation is cold-brewed Moringa tea. And I prefer it on the lighter side! I put one Moringa tea bag in 2 liters of water and let it cold-brew overnight in the fridge. The next morning, I pour it into my water bottle with ice and drink it down while working in the fields — it’s incredible! When you’re really thirsty, a lightly brewed Moringa tea goes down as smooth as water. It’s the best! You get hydration and all the rich nutrients of Moringa at the same time — two birds with one stone! Since it’s caffeine-free, even someone like me who isn’t great with coffee or green tea can drink it without worry.” Ken apparently always carries a 750 mL water bottle filled with Moringa tea to the fields, but as the peak of summer approaches, he’s worried it might not be enough. “Boss! When summer comes, could you set up a tank of cold Moringa tea for us!?” That’s been his go-to line lately. Will he make it through the summer fieldwork safely…?
